Better CARE Funding Committee
BetterCARE, the fundraising organization for Benewah Community Hospital and St. Maries Family Medicine, was initiated in 1987 by a group of citizens, hospital employees and community physicians interested in improving the capital resources of Benewah Community Hospital.
BetterCARE raises funds to purchase new equipment for both Benewah Community Hospital and St. Maries Family Medicine Clinic. In the past, funds have been used for surgical equipment, patient room furniture and monitoring equipment as well as renovation projects to accommodate the ever-growing healthcare community. BetterCARE has raised more than $365,000 since its inception.
