In a country where ER waiting time can take hours, Benewah Community Hospital
sees patients within minutes of arrival. In 2008, our Emergency Department treated 4,047 people. Benewah Community Hospital’s ER is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by physicians highly experienced in emergency medicine. Because BCH was there for them, there are many people alive today that may not have survived otherwise. Our caring staff is there to help you and your family in your time of emergency. Our goal is to provide the highest level of care during an unplanned and often stressful experience.
Hospital ER’s are expensive to operate. The community’s use of our clinic and
hospital services make it possible for BCH to operate a full-time emergency room.
