The laboratory provides a full range of routine testing for the hospital, clinic, emergency room, surgery, Valley Vista Care Center, and Panhandle Health Department. In addition to routine testing we have frozen section (tissue from surgery) capability through telepathology, provide blood banking services, do drug abuse screening collections, breath alcohol determinations, and have an extensive microbiology department.
The laboratory is staffed from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday. Testing is availabile to care providers in the emergency department and hospital at all hours, every day.
The Technologists are registered and experienced, and the Phlebotomists are experienced and skillful. We have modern, well maintained equipment for reliable service and we are constantly updating procedures and equipment to keep abreast of new developments in laboratory medicine.
Our laboratory is an integral part of the healthcare team in St. Maries, and provides laboratory results to many care providers in the Inland Empire for their patients in the St. Maries area who do not wish to travel for laboratory testing.
