Benewah Community Hospital awarded $2,500 grant for new Physical Therapy Equipment
St. Maries, Idaho – Benewah Community Hospital’s Physical Therapy Department will receive new equipment thanks to an Idaho Community Foundation grant.
The Steele-Reese Foundation Special Project Fund in the Idaho Community Foundation awarded BCH $2,500 in funds to purchase new resistance exercise equipment for the Physical Therapy Department. The equipment will be used to help restore a patient’s activity, strength and motion following an injury or surgery.
“Physical Therapy is an important function at Benewah Community Hospital,” said BCH CEO Brian Nall. “We appreciate Idaho Community Foundation’s support in helping us serve the healthcare needs of the residents of Benewah County.”
