Board of Directors

The purpose of this Board is to exercise governance activities to conduct, operate, and maintain a county hospital and medical clinic in accordance with the provisions of ldaho Code, Title 31, Chapters 35 and 36 and related laws. The Board assumes overall governance responsibility for the establishment of operational policy, maintenance of quality, and patient care in the provision of institutional management and planning on behalf of the patients. The Board has the authority, responsibility, and duties for management, organization, and operation of the Hospital, set forth in Idaho Code 31-3601 et seq. and applicable laws and regulations, or as such laws may be amended from time to time.

The BCH Board is comprised of community members and executives from Benewah Community Hospital and is responsible to oversee the operations of BCH.
