Careers at Benewah Community Hospital

BCH BuildingBenewah Community Hospital’s 19-bed facility offers a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services. On March 31, 2012, BCH announced the opening of its new East Tower which is part of a $28.5 million renovation and expansion project. The new addition includes spacious, private patient rooms, an expanded and updated physical therapy department, and a new family practice and specialty practice clinic. Benewah Community Hospital provides full service laboratory and radiology services, obstetrical services, cardiopulmonary care, physical therapy and cardiac diagnostics. Four physicians and two mid-levels provide family practice care and our Emergency Room is fully staffed 24/7 with Providers and Registered Nurses in-house.

Our beautiful North Idaho location provides endless recreational opportunities. The lush valley of the St. Joe River is the spectacular setting for the town of St. Maries (pronounced St. Marys) in the North Idaho Panhandle. The mountains, rivers, lakes and forests provide a grand backdrop for the town, which was founded in the 1880’s at the confluence of the St. Joe and St. Maries rivers.

Located just 55 miles from the city of Coeur d’Alene to the northwest, St. Maries is the county seat of Benewah County, and is the commercial center for this region of Idaho. State Highways 5 and 3 both travel through the city.

The community of St. Maries & Benewah County is growing! We offer a peaceful rural setting in which to practice medicine, yet St. Maries is only 55 miles from Coeur d’Alene and a seventy-five minute drive to downtown Spokane: close enough to the ‘big city’ when required.

Benewah Community Hospital offers competitive wages and benefits. Please contact our Human Resources Department at 208-245-7662 for questions. Please complete the application and return by online submission, fax, email, mail, or hand deliver.
