Job Summary:

Benewah Community Hospital is seeking a compassionate Emergency Medicine Physician to work, 24-hour shifts, as needed, in our Emergency Department (Board Certified in Family Medicine and/or Emergency Medicine). • 19 Bed Critical Access Hospital with Rural Health Clinic and Specialty Clinic
• 24-hour shifts- Inpatient call on weekends and 1 full week a month (to be shared among ER Physicians- on-call when on-shift)

Qualifications:

• Completion of an ACGME accredited Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Program
• Board Certified in Family Medicine and or/Emergency Medicine
• Valid State Medical License as MD or DO
• Valid DEA certificate and Idaho Board of Pharmacy certificate
• At least 2 years’ experience working full-time as an Emergency Medicine Physician
• Documentation skills
• Great verbal communication and listening skills
