St. Maries Family Medicine Clinic
St. Maries Family Medicine Clinic is located on the third floor of Benewah Community Hospital. Our provider staff consists of three family practice physicians, two of whom specialize in obstetrics. Each provider in our clinic has special interest which includes geriatric care, skin conditions, pediatrics, etc. We also have on staff one nurse practitioner and one physician’s assistant who are supervised by the family practice physicians. We are here to take care of all of your needs.

- Chronic Diseases Management (Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, High Cholesterol, Thyroid, etc.)
- General Surgery
- Infant to Senior Care
- Mole or Lesion Removal
- Orthopedic Services
- Physicals (Annual, Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Pre-employment, Sports)
- Pregnancy Care (from conception to delivery)
- Urgent Care: Cough, Cold, Flu, Minor Cuts and Injuries
- Women’s Health (Annual Exams, Mammograms, Contraceptive Management, etc.)

Acute Care Services
Acute Care Services are available from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. An Acute Care patient is defined as a patient who is experiencing a recent onset of new symptoms. If you, as the patient, are experiencing a new symptom or condition and don’t want to call in advance to schedule an appointment, please feel free to use our Acute Care Services. Please be aware that if you do not schedule an appointment there may be a little longer wait time. We are here to meet your needs and will do our best to get you seen as soon as possible.
If you are experiencing any emergent or life threatening symptoms, please call 911 or present to the Emergency Department immediately.
Please note that if you are in need of a medication refill, adjustment to your medication, or a physical, you need to schedule a visit with any of our providers in advance. The scheduling department can be reached by calling: 208-245-2591.
Please allow us 48 hours for a medication refill. Please be assured that we are here to serve your needs and will refill your medications as promptly as possible.
It’s important to know that some types of prescriptions require a follow-up appointment before they can be refilled. In those cases, please call the clinic and schedule an appointment with your provider, 208-245-2591. You can also contact your pharmacy, and they will notify us that you need a refill.
